Oml 42: Delta Oil Rich Community Gets New Executives as Preye Okrikpa Now Chairman of Odidi

Oil rich Odidi Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State has inaugurated and swear in Mr. Prince Preye Okrikpa as chairman to pilot the affairs of the community for the next four years with a charge to attract Development to the Area.

In a chat with newsmen on Monday in Warri, after the successful inauguration of Preye Okrika and his executive members revealed that the tenure of Chief Johnny Aribogha as community Chairman ended since 24th of November 2020.

The secretary, Clement Numah who was also inaugurated alongside others noted that it was a unanimous decision by members, chiefs, Elders, Youths and Women of the community to inaugurate the new leadership and its 20 men executive members to pilot the affairs of the community.

On his part, the new chairman of community, Mr. Okirkpa promised to work with his executives to fix the problems in the community, encourage sustainable peace and Development in the area.

He also promised to run an all inclusive government where all aggrieved persons will be engaged for the overall benefit of the community.

He thanked them for the opportunity given to him to serve, just as he promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him by his people.
